I talk to tavern owners, along with social clubs and veterans organizations, on a daily basis. They have struggled financially over the last nearly two years of the pandemic. The financial anchor though that has kept many of them from closing their doors is legal skill games.

In Greensville County Circuit Court, Judge Louis Lerner overruled the Virginia Attorney General's Office Demurrer on Tuesday. He denied motions to dismiss the Sadler Brothers Oil Company complaint that the skill game ban violates the free speech of Virginia small business owners.

Stanley, Sadler Declare Victory For Skill Games in Tuesday Court Case

State Sen. Bill Stanley (R-Franklin County) and racing legend Hermie Sadler declared victory outside the Circuit Court for Greensville County on Tuesday morning after a judge ruled against the Attorney General’s attempt to have their lawsuit dismissed.
