Senators and Legends Help Pennsylvania Skill Present $10,00 to American Legion

In a heartwarming display of community support, two football legends, LaVar Arrington and Lito Sheppard, joined Senators Gene Yaw and Dan Meuser in donating $10,000 to Williamsport's American Legion Post 268. The donation will go a long way in helping the Post continue to serve local veterans and their families.

LaVar Arrington, a former Penn State standout and NFL All-Pro linebacker, expressed his admiration for the work of the American Legion, stating that "it's an honor to be able to support the men and women who have served our country so bravely." Lito Sheppard, a former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback and two-time Pro Bowler, added that "it's important for us to give back to those who have given so much for our freedom."

Senators Gene Yaw and Dan Meuser, both of whom represent parts of Pennsylvania, emphasized the importance of supporting local organizations like the American Legion. Senator Meuser stated that "the American Legion has been an integral part of our community for generations, and we are proud to support their efforts."

The donation from Pennsylvania Skill will have a significant impact on the American Legion Post 268 and the veterans it serves. It is a touching display of the importance of community, service, and giving back to those who have given so much for our country's freedom.
